Describe your idea

Click 'Scope Your Project Free' with no signup required. Describe what you want to build in plain language through a conversational AI chat. No forms, no jargon.

AI scopes your project

The AI asks targeted follow-up questions and generates a Structured Project Document: roles needed, required skills, budget estimate, timeline, and suggested milestones. You review and refine it before moving on.

AI matches freelancers

Workzo's matching engine analyzes your scope and presents a ranked list of verified freelancers. Each recommendation includes a skills match percentage and an AI explanation of why they fit your project.

Hire and contract

Optionally schedule a video call to build rapport, then initiate a Workzo Contract drawn from your scoped brief. Both sides negotiate terms, then the client funds the project via Stripe. Work begins only when everyone agrees.

Milestones and payments

The freelancer submits each milestone for your review. Approve to release payment and activate the next milestone, request a revision with specific feedback, or raise a dispute if needed. Workzo's AI also flags scope creep before unpaid work begins.

Complete and re-hire

When all milestones are approved, you get a completion summary. Rate the freelancer, then use the one-click 'Hire Again' shortcut or let the AI suggest your next project based on what similar founders built next.

Find work that fits

Create your profile

Build your profile through a guided setup covering skills, portfolio samples, rates, availability, and credentials. Once identity and skills are verified, you get a verified badge and go live on the marketplace.

Get matched or browse

Receive AI-matched project invitations with an explanation of why you were selected. Accept, decline, or ask a clarifying question. Or browse posted projects directly and submit a short pitch to express interest.

Contract and kickoff

Review the client's Workzo Contract covering scope, milestones, payments, deadlines, and revision policy. Negotiate any terms, then once both sides agree the client funds the project and it moves to In Progress.

Deliver and get paid

Complete each milestone and submit your deliverables for client review. When approved, payment is released automatically, minus the flat 10% commission. Track earnings, pending payments, and transaction history in your dashboard.

Build your reputation

After completion both sides leave reviews, the finished project is automatically added to your portfolio, and your profile stats update. Better reviews improve your AI matching score, leading to higher-quality projects over time.

Milestone-based payments

Every payment is tied to a milestone. Clients fund upfront, funds are held securely, and released only when the work is approved. No risk on either side.

Funds secured before work begins

Client payments are secured via Stripe before work begins. Neither party can access the funds until the milestone is resolved.

Approve before release

Clients review and approve deliverables before any payment is released. Freelancers get paid reliably and on time.

Dispute protection

If something goes wrong, Workzo steps in to mediate. Both clients and freelancers are protected throughout the process.
