Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. They help a website remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in and the privacy choices you have made. We also use similar technologies and server-side logs to operate, secure, and understand the Service.
Workzo uses cookies to:
Essential cookies are required for the platform to function. For example, the workzo_session cookie securely maintains an authenticated session for up to 12 hours. These cookies cannot be disabled through Workzo's preference controls.
Cookie preference cookies record the choices you make in our cookie banner and settings, including consent, functional, analytics, and animation preferences. They are first-party cookies and persist for up to one year.
Functional preference cookies remember optional product preferences, such as animation settings. You can turn these off in the cookie settings.
Marketing cookies are not currently used by Workzo for remarketing or cross-site advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
Workzo does not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising trackers. When you enable analytics cookies, the browser may send first-party product and usage events to help us improve the Service. If you select Necessary only or turn analytics off, those optional browser events are not sent. Workzo still creates limited server-side service and security records when signed-in actions succeed. Those records are not cookies, do not track you across websites, and are used to deliver, secure, measure, and improve Workzo as described in the Privacy Policy. You can change optional choices at any time through cookie settings or your browser.
You can manage optional functional and analytics cookies using Workzo's cookie settings button. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; most browsers allow you to block or delete them. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other parts of Workzo from working correctly. Deleting preference cookies may cause the cookie banner to appear again.
A third-party service that you choose to connect to Workzo may set its own cookies on its website or authorization page. Those cookies are governed by that provider's privacy and cookie policies. Workzo's optional browser analytics is first-party and is enabled only when you allow analytics cookies; the operational server records described above do not use analytics cookies.
